A majority of the risks and complications with LASIK are minor and can be treated post-LASIK in a variety of ways.
Some patients may experience slight discomfort or eye irritation within the first 24-48 hours after their LASIK surgery. Other side effects are rare: glare or halos, difficulty driving at night, fluctuating vision or dry eyes.
For information on the most rare complications, visit the FDA’s website here.
NSES’s commitment to the safest, most advance technology greatly reduces the chance of these complications. It is also important that patients participate in all post-operative check-ups and eye exams.
