Volunteering at the Minnesota Special Olympics Summer Games

Volunteering at the Minnesota Special Olympics Summer Games Last Friday, our very own Bridget Axelson, OD and her children spent the day volunteering for the Minnesota Special Olympics Summer Games. The games offered a special program called ‘Opening Eyes’ that helped provide eye care for 460 athletes and fit 573 pairs of glasses, sports goggles, and sunglasses. Many local optometrists and ophthalmologists attended to help support and raise awareness. NSES Is Highlighted by Channel 5 News in the Anoka Halloween Parade

Anoka is called the “Halloween Capital of the World.” It is believed to be the first city in the United States to put on a Halloween celebration that tops the charts.
